The Lesser 02:58
The Lesser Time for the monsters of this world To fade away and be unheard Time for the evil, time for the cruel Broken by anger and it’s tools Time for the greedy who don’t understand Time for the masters killing this land Time for the sleepers and gentle souls Time for the wistful vision it holds Time for the stars webbing the night Time for the others left holding the light Time for the stewards, time for the peace Time for the lesser To say the least Imagine if you will A minor miracle A house upon a hill Where we all belong Time for the stars webbing the night Time for the others left holding the light Time for the stewards Time for the peace Time for the lesser To say the least

Reunion 02:55
REUNION Around this town there’s nothing but the water In it’s day it held a kind of shine Lives were made for better if not richer The world made sense At least a breath at a time Now the paint’s all peeling in twilight The trees sway like nobody knows I can see you the way I used to see you In this used to be town We used to know Take me back I’ll meet you by the water We can dance as if we aren’t old We’ll speak like lovers to each other Laugh at all the simple lies We were told The paint’s all peeling in twilight The trees sway like nobody knows We can marvel at being together In this used to be town We used to know Around this town there’s nothing but the water In it’s day it held a kind of shine Lives were made for better if not richer The world made sense At least a breath at a time Take me back I’ll meet you by the water Take me back I’ll meet you by the water In this used to be town We used to know In this used to be town

SAILORS BRAVE Mother walks the shoreline Sister mends a dress The sailor’s son is dreaming of A man he’s never met Beware you sailors brave As you ride out on your waves Far away from shore Where familiar is no more Father was a Captain When I was just a boy Swallowed by the water cold Before my first child’s toy Beware you sailors brave As you ride out on your waves Far away from shore Where familiar is no more The sea is not a thing to be controlled And the wind might never bring you home Empty is the shoreline Sister does not weep The sailor’s son is miles away And sleeps a dreamless sleep Beware you sailors brave As you ride out on your waves The ones you leave behind Might not feel you after time The ones you leave behind Might not feel you after time

LONELY WAS HIS NAME I met a ghost on a coal black road Lonely was his name He stared at me with empty eyes Lonely was his name Who are you? I asked him twice Lonely was his name The sky grew dark with rain and ice Lonely was his name Excuse me sir We must leave this world And it’s pain Your time is nigh You have no choice To remain The cemetery calls us all Lonely is its name The jail is full from wall to wall Lonely is its name The homeless camp, the weathered tramp Lonely is its name The place you find yourself tonight Lonely is its name Excuse me sir We must leave this world And its pain Your time is nigh You have no choice To remain Echo chamber, silence falls Lonely is its name That wasn’t god’s voice after all Lonely is it’s name That wasn’t god’s voice after all
